Pug Fairies

Just as young girls dream of dressing as fairy princesses

with gossamer gowns
and iridescent wings …

Flowers in their hair

And enchantment in their eyes ...

Young pugs dream of being lighter than air

and flitting around the garden

Magically transformed into pug fairies!

And as one who likes to imagine that fairies dance in my garden at midnight ...

Hmmm – isn’t it possible that there really are such things as pug fairies?

I think we just need to BELIEVE.

We believe! How is it that children had such somber faces way back when? It's kind of weird.

Oh YES!! It is certain that there are Pug~Fairies. Don't they watch out after all who love dogs?? They seem to exude a pink puggy halo, right??
Beautiful post. Love your pug fairies and the vintage photos too!
Hope all is well in the Land of Pandora's Parlor!

My little one (6 yrs old) loved your pug fairies as much as I did. I think the faces of those vintage children capture an innocence that modern day kids don't seem to have as much? Beautiful art!
